Lehane Family {Austin Family Photographer}
These kids are a photographers dream. When I say they LOVE having their pictures taken, that is an understatement. They fight to be the one in front of the camera. No, I'm not kidding. And to top it off they couldn't be anymore photogenic. I have loved seeing this family grow, this is our 4th photo shoot together! Here they are in all their cuteness...
Family is what it's all about...
I've been so excited to post these. I went to Georgetown two weeks ago to photograph my sister and family. Check them out...
HOEDOWN fer a HEIFER {Giving Back}
For those of you that know me, you know that I am a humanitarian. I am passionate about people and social justice. So when my friend Hannah told me that she was putting on a event to benefit Heifer International I was more than excited to be a part. Heifer is an amazing organization helping in a way that empowers people to help themselves by giving livestock. When you give livestock you not only provide food but a way to generate income as well so they get a hand up in life and not just a hand out. Please take the time to check out their site and get involved. They also have great resources for teaching children about poverty and sustainable development.This post would not be complete without first telling you how awesome Hannah is. She is the creative genius behind this event and after living in Austin such a short time I have no clue how she has so many connections and knows crazy amounts of awesome people. If I were doing my wedding all over again I'd hire Hannah to design it. I also want to give a big internet hug and shout out to all of the volunteers, sponsors, and bands. Check them out on the Hoedown website.
The Payne Family
Emily and I go way back to my freshman year in the Nelson dorm rooms at ACU. She was my RA but oddly enough I never would have had the pleasure of knowing her if it weren't for her brother and I being friends. Through the amazing wonders of Facebook we have been reconnected. This shoot started out great. When they pulled up I could hear Anna Kate crying from the parking lot. It took a little coaxing from grandma, 1 bag of goldfish and daddy making a fool of himself to finally get to her happy place. Zeke on the other hand is a little ham and basically did whatever I told him to do. Thank you for a fun session and I look forward to our trip to Sea World together!Ok enough talk, now on to some pics...
